The Joint Academic Conference of the KPCS (Korean Primary Care Society) & the KFERA (Korean Filler Education and Research Academy) was held at COEX Hall E on August 25.
This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Korean Primary Care Society and the 10th anniversary of the Korean Education and Research Academy. The two societies collaborated to establish a large-scale conference under the name "Kollaboration." This newly launched academic event reflects the growing demand for comprehensive aesthetic medical treatments, covering both insurance and non-insurance-based procedures. As a result, numerous medical and aesthetic device companies participated, sharing new information and trends on procedural equipment and consumables.
Newpong participated in the conference with its newly launched curved HIFU device, LINCURVE PRO, which was introduced in May.
Dr. Yoo Jae-wook (Varomi Clinic), the founder and chair of Kollaboration, presented a lecture in the afternoon titled "Characteristics of Curved Surface Adhered New Concept HIFU," where he discussed the principles and key advantages of LINCURVE PRO's curved cartridge.
Dr. Yoo explained that conventional flat cartridge surfaces often fail to fully adhere to the curved contours of the face, potentially causing superficial skin scratches during laser procedures. He emphasized how these issues are significantly improved when performing treatments with LINCURVE PRO, which features a newly developed curved cartridge.
Additionally, he highlighted that the curved cartridge enhances adhesion to facial areas, ensuring efficient heat transfer without dissipation. Compared to traditional flat cartridges, it notably reduces the occurrence of scratches, improves procedural ease, and allows seamless application across all facial areas.
